Guiding Principles

CORE VALUES:

If you knew one person valued money over integrity, while another valued honesty over material wealth, would you be more likely to predict how each might respond in a situation where money and morals clashed?

That's because understanding a person or organization's core values offers you a direct glimpse into their soul - you actually see the compass they use when navigating every decision that comes their way. Understanding these values unveils the essence of their being, shedding light on both their positions and the reasoning behind their actions.

This is why I choose to share my and Human Evolution Movement's core values with you. I want you to have that glimpse directly into our souls, so you too can understand how and why we go about prioritizing our decisions and actions.

1. Being the Example

I firmly believe in embodying the change I advocate. It's not just about teaching concepts; it's about living them. My goal is to demonstrate these principles in action, ensuring they are practical and achievable in everyday life. This approach helps inspire real change in others – showing, not just telling, the way to transformation.

2. Radical Honesty and Authenticity

True authenticity is at the core of my philosophy. It's about being unafraid to show your true self, even if it challenges norms. This isn't about disregarding others' feelings, but about being honest and genuine in a way that honors your true nature. It's a commitment to live honestly and authentically and creating that space where others feel safe to do the same.

3. Inspired Change

Change that lasts is often sparked by a moment of profound truth. I focus on helping people find and connect with these truths, leading to a deep, spiritual awakening. This isn't about coercing change; it's about facilitating an environment where change is a natural, inspired choice.

4. Simple, Logical, and Practical Information

My teachings are grounded in simplicity and practicality. I strive to present information in a way that's easy to understand and apply, cutting through the complexity to reveal the clear, actionable essence of each principle.

5. Personal Evolution

I guide individuals beyond the limitations imposed by societal conditioning. It's not about fixing; it's about evolving to a higher state of self. This journey involves shedding outdated beliefs and reconnecting with one's authentic, loving self.

6. Results

The focus is always on tangible results. It's essential that those who engage with my methods experience real, positive changes in their lives. This outcome-driven approach ensures that the teachings are not just theoretical, but truly life-altering.

7. Empowerment

Empowering individuals to realize their full potential is central to my work. It's about reigniting the inner spark that fear or doubt may have dimmed, enabling each person to live as their best, most authentic self.

8. Innovation and Exploration

Staying at the forefront of personal development involves constantly exploring new research and techniques. I am committed to integrating the latest findings into my practice, ensuring that my methods are not just novel, but also highly effective.

9. Flexibility & Continuous Growth

Adaptability and continuous learning are vital for thriving. I advocate for a flexible approach to life's challenges, emphasizing the importance of growth and evolution in response to changing circumstances.

CORE BELIEFS AND PRESUPPOSITIONS:

Imagine two individuals, identical in every way but one: before each interaction, one assumes "People are kind and helpful," while the other holds "People are inherently evil." This distinction profoundly influences their life's interactions, shaping thoughts, actions, emotions, and reactions. It underscores the transformative power of presuppositions - they're not just beliefs but the lenses that color our perception and interaction with the world.

This realization drives me to share the specific presuppositions that guide both my personal approach and that of the Human Evolution Movement. These principles do more than influence behavior; they dictate how we engage with every situation and individual. By unveiling these, we offer you a window into our worldview, a basis for our actions, and our strategy for navigating relationships and challenges.

1. We Are All Beautifully Unique, But Have Been Taught to Conform

Every person on this earth has uniquely different capabilities, preferences, and sources of joy. This diversity should enrich society, allowing everyone to contribute their best, driven by what inspires them most. However, modern-day society often pressures us to conform, suggesting that our uniqueness isn't valued or doesn't fit in as it should. This compels us to suppress our true selves in order to fit in or survive.

This suppression of our uniqueness, this lack of genuine self-love, often manifests as depression, resentment, jealousy, or various other symptoms because deep down, we feel stunted and blocked from pursuing what we believe will truly bring us happiness and fulfillment.

2. Accept the Person, Change the Behavior

Every baby is born innocent and perfect - Wanting love, connection, peace, joy, and to feel safe and taken care of. Over time, that same, perfect baby is subjected to experiences and comes up with ways of seeing and acting within the world that may be difficult or hurtful to themselves and / or others.

The first step is to recognize that the same beautiful soul is in there and that they have simply come up with ways of seeing / thinking of this world that aren't producing useful results. That means that EVERYONE is inherently worthy of love and acceptance - Their thoughts and behaviors, though, may need to be updated to become more useful in the world.

3. People Are Always Doing the Best They Can

Everyone in the world is seeking to avoid pain and gain pleasure (whatever that means to them). That means that people will always do the best they can to achieve those goals given their current resources and understanding. If you help a person become more resourceful and / or gain a deeper understanding around a situation, they will naturally change.

4. Behind Every Behavior There is a Positive Intention

Every action, even problematic ones, stems from a positive intention - Everyone is always aiming to fulfill a need or value for themselves. Understanding this allows you to detach the action and the outcome from the intent, which, at it's deepest core, is pure.

5. Every One of Us is Living In a Made-Up Fantasy World

We perceive the world through our sense organs, but we, then, create a "map" of that world in our minds to match what we experienced. The issue is that, had we experienced something different, our "maps" would be different. That means that each and every one of us is not living in the real world. We are living (and, more importantly, responding to) the version of the world we have made up in our minds.

6. The Law of Requisite Variety (Flexibility)

In any system, the element that is the MOST FLEXIBLE will usually end up dominating it.

That means that the more flexible you become with respect to something (physically, emotionally, or mentally for example), the more capable you are of dominating within that system.
